    This is a French book in English about how to create Hardanger Embroideries.  It has 25 "Plates" Photographs of patterns with instructions of what kind of thread should be used.  There are 11 pages of "Directions for Executing the Work."  The book is 11 & 1/2" by 8" bound by staples.  It is not dated.  There are bends and creases at the corners of the covers and some wear but it is complete with no stains, losses or tears.
